Restaurant policy
Restaurant Partner Policy
Effective 2 August 2026. These standards apply alongside the commercial onboarding terms and ChopQuick Terms and Conditions. They protect food safety, fair trading, accurate fulfilment, customer privacy, and marketplace trust.
1. Eligibility and verification
- Provide accurate ownership, contact, location, identity, banking, and business-registration information where requested.
- Maintain all licences, food-service approvals, tax obligations, and permits required by applicable authorities.
- Notify ChopQuick promptly when ownership, location, payout details, or authorised personnel change.
2. Food safety and hygiene
- Prepare, store, package, and transport food under safe and hygienic conditions with trained personnel.
- Prevent contamination, use suitable packaging, disclose known allergens when available, and never list expired, adulterated, unsafe, or prohibited products.
- Cooperate promptly with a safety complaint, recall, inspection, evidence request, or temporary listing restriction.
3. Menu accuracy
- Keep item names, descriptions, ingredients, portions, photos, prices, stock, operating hours, and preparation estimates accurate.
- Do not use bait-and-switch pricing, misleading images, hidden compulsory charges, fake discounts, copied branding, or unavailable items to attract orders.
- Pause unavailable products and obtain customer agreement before any material substitution.
4. Order fulfilment
- Accept only orders the restaurant can prepare safely and within a reasonable time, and update status truthfully.
- Check item, quantity, packaging, order reference, and rider handoff before release.
- Do not mark an order ready, collected, delivered, cancelled, or refunded when that event has not occurred.
5. Pricing, fees, and payouts
- Honour the price accepted at checkout except where a verified technical error requires customer-approved correction or cancellation.
- Platform charges, commissions, promotions, adjustments, refunds, and payout timing follow the commercial terms shown during onboarding or later accepted updates.
- Payouts may be delayed during fraud, chargeback, safety, identity, bank-detail, or order-dispute review. Restaurants remain responsible for their own taxes and records.
6. Customer data and communication
- Use customer names, numbers, addresses, and order details only to fulfil or support the relevant order.
- Do not retain, sell, advertise to, threaten, harass, or contact customers outside a legitimate service need.
- Keep communications professional and route unresolved disputes through ChopQuick support.
7. Reviews and marketplace integrity
- Do not buy, fabricate, exchange, suppress, or manipulate reviews, ratings, orders, referrals, or promotional eligibility.
- Do not impersonate another restaurant, create duplicate accounts to evade enforcement, interfere with competing partners, or redirect platform orders to avoid agreed charges.
- Respond to genuine feedback constructively and report content through the approved review or support process.
8. Prohibited goods and conduct
- No unlawful, counterfeit, stolen, unsafe, age-restricted without required controls, or otherwise prohibited goods may be offered.
- Fraud, payment manipulation, collusion, abusive conduct, malware, platform interference, and misuse of rider or customer information are prohibited.
- Restaurant accounts and verification badges may not be sold, rented, or transferred without written approval.
9. Complaints, refunds, and evidence
- Respond promptly to reports of missing, incorrect, poor-quality, unsafe, delayed, or materially misrepresented orders.
- Preserve relevant order, preparation, packaging, and handoff evidence and provide it through authorised support channels.
- Verified restaurant-caused failures may result in a full or partial customer refund, account adjustment, warning, retraining, listing restriction, or suspension.
10. Monitoring and enforcement
- ChopQuick may review listings, order patterns, complaints, cancellations, fulfilment metrics, account activity, and verification status to protect users and platform integrity.
- Depending on severity and history, action may include guidance, content removal, payout hold, order restriction, temporary suspension, termination, or referral to lawful authorities.
- Urgent safety, fraud, or legal risks may require immediate action before a full review. Partners may contact support with relevant evidence to request reconsideration.
