Effective 2 August 2026. These Terms govern customers, restaurant partners, riders, support users, and visitors using ChopQuick.
1. Acceptance and eligibility
By accessing ChopQuick, creating an account, placing an order, operating a restaurant account, or accepting a delivery task, you agree to these Terms. You must provide accurate information and have legal capacity to enter a binding agreement. Accounts may not be transferred, impersonated, or used for unlawful activity.
2. Marketplace role
ChopQuick provides technology for discovering food, placing orders, processing approved payments, coordinating restaurants and riders, and obtaining support. Restaurants remain responsible for their menus, food quality, preparation, packaging, licences, taxes, and regulatory compliance. Riders remain responsible for safe and lawful delivery conduct.
3. Accounts and security
You are responsible for safeguarding your login details, keeping your phone number and delivery address current, and promptly reporting suspected unauthorised access. We may require identity, restaurant, rider, payment, or transaction verification and may restrict an account while a safety or fraud review is underway.
4. Menus, prices, and availability
Prices, portions, photos, preparation times, discounts, stock, service areas, and operating hours are supplied or managed by restaurant partners and may change. An order is subject to availability and confirmation. If an item becomes unavailable, the customer may be offered a substitution, partial adjustment, or cancellation through an approved support process.
5. Orders and payment
Review the restaurant, items, quantities, address, fees, and total before paying. Payments must use checkout methods approved by ChopQuick. Payment processing may be provided by Paystack or another disclosed provider. A payment acknowledgement does not override fraud screening, restaurant acceptance, stock availability, or a lawful reversal.
6. Delivery and customer responsibilities
Quoted delivery times are estimates affected by preparation, weather, traffic, distance, access restrictions, and rider availability. Customers must provide a reachable phone number, accurate address, safe delivery point, and timely collection. Extra costs or failed delivery caused by incorrect information or prolonged unavailability may not be refundable.
7. Cancellations, refunds, and complaints
Eligibility depends on order status and verified circumstances. Report missing, incorrect, unsafe, materially damaged, or undelivered items promptly through support and retain relevant evidence. Approved refunds are returned through the available payment route and may take time to appear. Preference changes, consumed items, or issues reported too late may not qualify.
8. Acceptable use
You must not submit false claims, manipulate promotions or reviews, harass users, misuse personal information, interfere with the platform, upload harmful content, evade fees, conduct fraudulent payments, or use ChopQuick to sell prohibited or unsafe goods. We may remove content, cancel activity, suspend access, preserve evidence, or cooperate with lawful authorities.
9. Reviews and user content
Content you submit must be truthful, relevant, lawful, and respectful. You retain ownership of your content but grant ChopQuick permission to host, reproduce, display, and moderate it for platform operation and promotion. We may remove content that violates these Terms, privacy rights, intellectual-property rights, or community safety.
10. Service availability and liability
We work to keep ChopQuick reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, exact delivery times, or uninterrupted third-party services. To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to direct loss reasonably connected to the affected transaction; nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that Nigerian law does not permit us to exclude.
11. Changes, suspension, and governing law
We may update features or these Terms to reflect operational, legal, security, or regulatory changes. Material updates will be posted on this page. We may suspend or terminate access for breach, risk, or legal necessity. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, with disputes handled by competent Nigerian courts after good-faith support resolution is attempted.
